The Burj Khalifa, known to be Burj Dubai for years. This time I tried muting the colors in attempt to make my subject stand out better. This is also my attempt to make a vertical panorama, some calls it vertorama.
Gear: Canon 7D + Sigma 10-20mm
Settings: f8.0 | 1/320 | ISO 100
Post process:
- Photomerged in Photoshop using 5 photos of vertical-panoramic shots (hand held)
- Tried correcting the perspective to straighten the Burj Khalifa (aka Burj Dubai)
- Used the black & white layer adjustment for toning
- Dodging and burning

your 178 mono shot of the khalifa is Wow! 5 shots merged at hand held!? galing! you are definitely a master of this art. hopefully matularan ko soon. looking forward to see your 183rd post — which is halfway through
BTW would you possibly know a canon service center in Dubai for me to replace a new focus screen? to my clumsiness i have marked my 7d’s focus screen while cleaning up (sigh!). or possibly a kit that i can buy which i can easily replace. appreciate the trouble sir.
