Another one of those experimental texture blending. I used 4 kinds of textures here and each was blended differently.

Got this off the highway of Ras Al Khaimah while on the way back to Dubai. I first notice the great sky and I saw this pair of tracks and decided to include both of them on my frame

These cloud formations are really rare in Dubai. I saw them on my way home and I just had to pull over and get a snap of them. Clouds add a lot of depth and character to an image, too bad we don’t have a lot of them here.

I have to admit that this was a test shot, I was trying to check if my sensor has dust on it… Forgot that I was using a fisheye =)

This is pretty much what I carry everyday. I got this new crumpler bag named: “Little Stevie” to carry my iPad 3G+Wifi 64G, Lumix LX3, my Canon 7D with a wide angle lens (either Tokina 11-16 f2.8 or my fisheye 10mm f2.8), 50mm f1.8, cleaning cloth, blower, card reader, extra battery, extra CF cards and a LED flash light.
I am starting to see the benefits of iPad in terms of photography; I think as soon as the Operating System matures in the iPad and more apps being available for photography, it could be an essential tool to photographers.

When the iPad came out, I wasn’t planning on getting one, because my first impression was… it’s just a big iPhone
That was until I tried one, hold it with my hands and browse with it… Day after that, I ordered it from Ebay =)
Steve Jobs said that the iPad is a 3rd category device, it sits in between a smart phone and a laptop. I didn’t get that until I started using the iPad and as day passes by and new apps are being generated, I just can’t stop fiddling with the iPad. I agree with Steve, the iPad could be the start of the Post-PC era…

There is something about this place… Makes me think how it was before. I can’t find any documented article about this abandoned place in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, as to how it was before, anyway, this is how it looks today.
