365 Project : Day 178

The Burj Khalifa, known to be Burj Dubai for years.  This time I tried muting the colors in attempt to make my subject stand out better. This is also my attempt to make a vertical panorama, some calls it vertorama. Gear: Canon 7D + Sigma 10-20mm Settings: f8.0 | 1/320 | ISO 100 Post process: Photomerged in Photoshop using 5 photos of vertical-panoramic shots (hand held) Tried correcting the perspective to straighten the Burj Khalifa (aka Burj Dubai) Used the […]

365 Project : Day 177

I was looking for a future home since my office has been relocated in the middle of the desert which is really far from where I stay.  I visited this hotel apartment which is really awesome and I would really love to live in a full furnished apartment which is 15 minutes away from the office.  This picture was taken at the balcony overlooking the Emirates road. Gear: Lumix LX3 Settings: f2.8 | 1/100 | ISO 80 Post process: Dodging […]

365 Project : Day 173

I saw this two buildings and even with an 11mm UWA lens, they don’t fit on my frame.  I decided to go under them and try to frame it as symmetrical as I can.  No cropping here.  I think I took 4 shots and this was the most symmetrical one. Gears: Canon 7D + Tokina 11-16 f2.8 Settings: f7.1 | 1/125 | ISO 100 Post processing: Dodging and burning Hue and saturation adjustements Curves adjustments to balance out the exposure […]
